Sam Poole asked us to post this on our blog. He has a Black Angus Cross steer out of Patty O’Malley. The steer comes from John Callaway’s ranch out of Georgia, it was born mid September it weighs 500-550 lbs. and is eating well. If you are interested in the 4-H Urban Farming project there is still time to participate. In the Urban farming project you will till an 8x12 piece of land, make rows, plant the seeds that we provide, and care for your garden. Your garden will be judged, and the vegetables will also be judged, if you have any questions or if you are interested in doing this project you can contact Marie or Trisha.
